Theme Verse for 2019: Hebrews 4:12-13
Happy New Year! This morning we’ll take a look at our verse for the year found in Hebrews 4:12-13.  “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”

    Revelation 19
This morning we’ll take a look at the Revelation 19...a reminder once again, about the God who is in control. We’ve just come through yet another political season...whether this last election pleased you, left you wondering, or left you disheartened... life tends to go on! And...our Lord is still on the throne! I’m grateful that we have a God who was bigger than any Persian, Babylonian, or Egyptian king. Who was mightier than all of the Caesar’s...and who eclipses any politician! Our God is the only one worthy of our worship.

A Message to the Church at Laodicea
This morning we take a look at the seventh church addressed in Revelation chapters 2 & 3. It is the church at Laodicea... and our Lord is not pleased with them. Let’s ask God to give us ears to hear what he might be saying to us. We’ll tie this in with the verse we’ve chosen as our verse for the year: 2 Cor. 5:20.. “We  are therefore  Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ behalf: be reconciled to God.“
