Reflecting On Why We Do What We Do
Today we focus on the church...Why do we do what we do?  How important is the church?  We believe God has put us here for the benefit of our community... that this is a place where people can hear about God, learn about His Word, and experience His grace.  The church is God's idea, and His way of encouraging people, reaching the wayward, and growing us all.  And so we gather week after week to seek God together and bless those around us.  We are glad that you are on this journey with us!

People Like You & Me – Week #15
As we celebrate the Lord's Table this morning, we will take a look at some passages from the prophet Isaiah.  As Isaiah prophesied so many centuries ago, we marvel at how applicable his words continue to be in our lives today.  Isaiah served (and we serve) a God who is intimately acquainted with all of our ways, who loves us, and who has provided all we need to be reconciled to Him!  Take a moment right now and ask that God would speak into your heart today.

People Like You & Me – Week #14
This week we take a look at the life of King Solomon.  His life is marked by godliness at the start of his reign... and then opulence, foolishness, and lack of restraint toward the end.  We can learn some things about finishing well from the poor example of a king who seemingly had it all, yet the Scripture's commentary was: "The Lord became angry with Solomon because his heart turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice."

    Jesus Is My King
Jesus is NOT my homeboy; He's my KING!  This morning we'll be talking about giving glory to the FOUNDER and PERFECTER of our faith.
Join us as we take a look at Hebrews 12:1-2, and as we study to better understand the words JUSTIFICATION and SANCTIFICATION.

    The Biblical View of Money
We believe that the God we worship is a sovereign God.  That means He is all-powerful, can do as He pleases, and that He owns everything!  Since that is the case, why on earth would He need (or want) me to give money to support His work?  Great question!!  We will look at the topic of giving this morning and how it is a means of God's grace in our lives!

People Like You & Me – Week #13
This morning we are celebrating the Lord's Table.  This observance is a reminder of grace and mercy, forgiveness and hope!  Today we will take one more glimpse into David's heart, exploring the keeping of a promise he had made to a trusted friend.  We serve a promise-keeping God, and David often reflected that by his actions!

People Like You & Me – Week #12
Today we take one more glimpse into King David's life. It's a rather ugly chapter that involves a lapse in judgement, a pathetic attempt at cover up, and an obscene outcome.  The incident with Bathsheba would be more fitting for the town fool than for Israel's greatest king!  In the fog of David's darkest hour, which went on for months, we see hope that comes by God's grace...

    The “Goliaths” In Our Lives

Life is almost never simple; in fact, life can be downright complicated and tough.  There will always be a "Goliath" lurking around the corner waiting to greet you and me with new problems to bear and hopefully resolve.  The story about David and Goliath is not just another war story.  It's about the awesome power of a life built around bold faith in the Lord.  It reminds us that it is God who gives us victory, and He sometimes gives it to those of us who are weak in order that His power might be known to all.

People Like You & Me – Week #11

This week we return to our study of people from the pages of Scripture.  Today we look at David, one of Israel's greatest kings & glorious leaders.  He's a man who loved God passionately, and also failed him miserably.  David is a study in what it means to have a heart that runs after God, what it means to be forgiven, and what it looks like to walk in faith. He gives us lessons on dangerous pride, beautiful humility, and faithful trust.  Thanks for joining us!  It's our prayer that your faith will be strengthened and encouraged today.

    Gathering Around the Lord’s Table

Happy New Year!  We begin another new year in the best possible way as we gather around the Lord’s Table.  May your heart be encouraged as we reflect on God’s mercy and forgiveness...and may the year ahead find us giving out His grace to others!
