    John 16

Many believers long for Jesus to be physically present for conversation, wisdom, and strength.  Many of us don't realize that there is something far better!  Please turn to John 16 as we study God's Word this morning.

Psalm 63 – David in ‘no man’s land”
Today we take a look at Psalm 63...one of the "desert psalms".  David was in "no man's land" unsure of his future, holding on for his life, and yet...resting in his awesome God.

Maybe today finds you in a similar spot...it's our prayer that you'll find hope where David did...in the shadow of his wings.

The Adultorous Women – the stones we pick up

"The stones we pick up" .... This week we will revisit John chapter 8 and the account of the woman caught in adultery. Let's ask the Lord to reveal any ugly baggage we might have, and ask him for the grace to surrender it.

We welcome you to our celebration of the Lord’s Table! This celebration is open to anyone who is trusting in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It's a reminder that our works don't save us, but the work of Christ does

    The Adultorous Women

This morning we take a look at John 8 and the story of a woman being brought before Jesus. The charge was adultery...the motives were sketchy at best. This brief encounter has much to teach us about mercy, about sexual sin, false righteousness, and grace. Jesus often surprises his audience, challenging them to a deeper level of grace and beauty. May he do that in our hearts today.

    Running the Race
    Series: Day Camp
Today we take a look at what has been our Day Camp theme verse:  "Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us".  We will be studying together verses 1-17 in the book of Hebrews.  The author is encouraging us to "run Light", to "run through the pain", and to "run with integrity".  Ask the Lord to speak into your heart today.

    Psalm 46
    Series: Psalm

Today we look at a Psalm that is beloved by many.  Psalm 46 speaks volumes to hearts that can be easily overcome by fear.   We live in uncertain times, and it is rather easy to give way to fear.  The Sons of Korah, writing so many centuries ago, had a timeless message for you and me.

Study of Proverbs – Week #16
Today we will wrap up our Study of Proverbs...with a reminder that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.

Today we will also celebrate communion... A reminder that Jesus has left for us. This celebration is for all who are trusting in Christ. If you are new here or visiting, you are welcome to participate with us... The only qualifier is that you have surrendered your heart to Jesus Christ. We believe in a substitutionary atonement.... That is, that Christ died in our place, a sacrifice for sins, to reconcile us to God. All who trust in Christ and his finished work are adopted as sons and daughters of God!

Take time this morning to thank God for his gracious gift!

Study of Proverbs – Week #15

As we come to an end this week and next in our study of Proverbs, we will look at a topic which dominates the book...Wisdom. What does it mean to be wise? How do we grow in wisdom? Not only is it a blessing in our lives, it is crucial in the Christian walk...For God tells us that to not walk in wisdom is embracing foolishness.
