A message from Pastor Craig As the Pastor of our singles ministry I have noticed a consistent theme from many people in our church and community. The moment someone hears about our ministry, they figure it's just a place to find a nice person to date. This kind of thinking can be misleading for single people who are sincerely looking for a place to grow in their walk with Christ. So I would like to take a moment to set the record straight and tell you what the Frontline ministry at Beacon is all about. |

Our mission and purpose The primary purpose of the Frontline ministry is to glorify God. We seek to accomplish this by helping single adults become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Practically speaking the Frontline ministry is a care circle which helps people grow in their walk with Christ through fellowship, relevant Bible teaching and service to our community. The name of our group represents the focus of the ministry, which is to be on the frontlines of God's kingdom. We have approximately 20 members in our group with ages ranging from early twenties to middle age. We meet every other Friday night at Gerri Burke's house in Galloway. Directions to Gerri's house Coming from Beacon take 6th ave to Jimmy Leeds road. Make a right at Jimmy Leeds and proceed a few blocks until you reach the intersection of Jimmy Leeds and Pitney. Take a left onto Pitney Road. Stay on Pitney for about 2 miles heading towards Smithville. Make a right onto Moss Mill Rd. Moss Mill Rd bears to the left towards the historic town of Smithville, but stay on the road as it bears right and becomes Smithville Blvd. At the first cross street (Quail Hill Blvd,) make a left. Make the second left onto Edgewater Dr. and come down to the little circle by the lake and bear left and I am the first townhouse on the left-730 Victoria Dr. As far as parking there are some visitor spots but they are usually filled. You can park around the little circle or just anywhere on the street-there are signs saying there is no parking but it should be okay for only a few hours.
