“What must I do to inherit eternal life?”
There was a wealthy young man who asked Jesus, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?"  Great question...although he didn’t appreciate the answer.  This encounter talks about the root issues that keep us from God and also the power that the things of this world can hold over us.  We will be looking at this in passages found in Mark 10, Matthew 19 and Luke 18.

What attitudes led up to the crucifixion?

Two Sundays from now we will be celebrating Easter.  Easter is all about the resurrection of Christ. A marvelous reality that we celebrate by meeting every Sunday for corporate worship.  Today we will take a look at the ugliness that led up to the crucifixion. The anger, jealousy and pride of the religious leaders led them to the unconscionable...to have Jesus crucified. Lest we think we are exempt, it’s those same heart attitudes that can sow seeds of evil in our own hearts and lead us to damaging choices.
