God’s Word Is Timeless
Good morning! Thanks for joining us.  This week and next, we’ll be studying the message of Amos; a prophet who relays God's message to the people of Israel.  The sins addressed almost 2,800 years ago are stunningly relevant to our situation. God's Word is timeless and refreshingly applicable.

Today we put our focus on ministry! We’ll take a look at what exactly we mean by that, why serving is important, and some of the obstacles that derail effective ministry.  Each one of us has gifts that can be a blessing to others!  In addition, we hope you hang around after the service to interact and ask some questions.

God is the Head of your team!
Our Main Point Today: God wants to make you whole, emotionally and spiritually; and He’s willing to start the process right now. God is not playing on the opposite team trying to trip you up. Unity in the Body
    Unity in the Body.
In John 17, we find Jesus’ final prayer in the garden before being arrested and beginning his final walk to the Cross. In that final prayer, Jesus spends time praying for himself, his disciples, and for those who will come after his disciples (that’s us!). The topic he chooses to address with his prayer for us is unity among believers. We are going to talk about unity and why Christ chose to focus on that in the last minutes before his walk to the Cross.

Psalm 139 is a rich portion of scripture that we find great encouragement in as we trust our Lord.  Psalm 139 speaks of our God who is omnicent-all knowing, omnipresent-he is everywhere, and omnipotent-all powerful.
