How Do I Meet People?

Beacon Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Beacon Church.

Small Groups

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, Beacon Church has small studies that vary in location and time. Some groups are designed to be more like support groups, while others are focused on studying the Bible or another given book.  Support groups include, but are not limited to, Grief Share, Divorce Care, and Single & Parenting.

Children’s Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and trained in children’s instruction. The children’s ministry of Beacon Church is recognized for their close interaction.

Youth Ministry

Every Wednesday night, our middle school and high school students have their own time to connect and hang out.  The night also includes games, relevant teaching, and small group discussion time.  We aim to provide a fun and safe environment where students can hear the Word of God, trust what it says, and grow as believers in Christ.

Young Adults

Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group of Beacon Church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.  They meet every Thursday night, and would love to have you join if you fall into this category.

Women’s Groups

Beacon Women’s Groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups, which meet in various locations and at different times, provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Men’s Groups

Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Our men’s focus in on our accountability groups, which meet together as their schedules allow and keep in touch by email or phone.  In addition to these groups, we also have our Golf League, Sportsmen Ministry, Softball League, and more.

Married Couples

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. Beacon Church gives married couples the opportunity to get out for regular date nights through our Marriage Matters ministry.  This ministry is designed to help you set aside time to enjoy fellowship with your spouse and other married couples.

Senior Saints – Over 60’s

Once you get past sixty, the fun has just begin. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-60 group at Beacon provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction.  Events include trips to America’s Keswick, meals out to eat at local establishments, soup lunches at Beacon, and our annual Christmas party.
